The Need of Love (1971)

need2.jpg

EW&F's sophomore album "The Need of Love" literally acomplished the same thing as their debut album. The biggest difference being the group's debut effort was geared towards R&B and funk, while "The Need of Love" contained more jazz.

EW&F did continue to offer hints of the sound that made them popular.

This album is appealing to critical ears, but anyone in search of gloss, will have a hard time finding it here.
