That's the Way of the World (1975)

See the Light

See the Light***[5:30](L.Dunn, P.Bailey. L.Hardy{Anglin?}): The beginning is urgent keyboards, spasmodic percussion, stirring vocal harmony elevated by Philip Bailey's intense falsetto. Followed by a tempo change.
Mid-tempo basso-nova supports welcome vocals. Towards the end, the tempo increases to more of a salsa, enabling "See the Light" to deliver the knock-out punch for classic album. This is closer to the gospel style ballads, from the two previous EW&*F albums, and an excellent choice to finish a quality album of this magnitude.
The interlude that follows the music is to be expected, (more African music). The keyboard motif played on the interlude following "All About Love" is repeated although not as audible. After it fades, the group members begin blurting out "Swahili" phrases. After a few lines they break out into laughter.
