Evolution Orange**** (Foster/O'Byrne/White) - 4:37: Brisk, poppy, light new-wave, supported by funk, best defines "Evolution Orange". Excellent guitars and keyboards, brass comes in just right, enhanced slightly by synthesizers. Falsetto lead vocals as well as falsetto harmony is ideal. "Evolution Orange" was another example of EW&F performing a newer style of music and still making it their own. High-end brass, acidic guitars, break-neck bass lines and Afro-Latin percussion all are EW&F trademarks, and they work brilliantly for this danceable new-wavish, funk jam.
