Something Special****+ [4:23] (M.White, W. Vaughn, W. Vaughn): Following a short synth interlude, "Something Special"
comes in at the exact same tempo as "Wanna Be With You" from EW&F's previous album, but still has its own identity
(As do most EW&F songs). Maurice performs admirably on the lead part and stretches out towards the end (he even sings
gruff for a few lines), the falsetto harmony on the hook is soothing. The best part is the horn-section augmenting the other
instruments to perfection.
