Freedom of Choice*** [4:10] (M. White, B. Taylor, A. Lawrence): Another uptempo rockish jam, sporting Philip Bailey's falsetto
vocals, several of hooks, various harmonies, fuzzy guitars, bass and synth basses alongside each other (early 80's uniqueness),
high-end brass and like other EW&F songs, their's nothing to dislike about "Freedom of Choice". However, this
song may have been a take-off of the success of the "Prince" style, who at the same time enjoyed the success of
his "1999" album.
Regardless Freedom of Choice is still a quality song and representative of EW&F performing newer, different styles
of music and making it their own.
