Straight from the Heart **** [4:42] (P.Bailey, E. DelBarrio, R. Seeman, F. Washington): Percussion-laden interlude segues
into this sumptuous slow offering. Welcome falsetto voice comes on as soothing as ever (after a previous album of rockin'
the house) about falling in love. Falsetto harmony dominates the hook nicely. Music is somewhat R&Bish with sensuous piano
and a dominant bass. Overall, "Straight From the Heart" is among EW&F's better slow ballads but unfortunately
this song didn't effect music listeners the same as earlier EW&F ballads had.
