Fair But So UnCool**[3:37](C. Stepney, R.Giles): Funky southern-style Saturday afternoon in a saloon piano motif opens this
danceable percussion-laden jam. Front-end electric piano is shadowed by bass line with guitars barely audible but edgeworthy.
Maurice sings the lead with a lot of emotion and adds in a few Ows! and Yeahs !(That's how the 70's funksters did it) to spice
things up. The falsetto harmony in the hook is impressive. The harmonic background vocals towards the end are impressive as
well.
While the previous song "Devotion" had the street corner doo-woppers crooning, "Fair But So Uncool"
had the hip cats boppin their heads up and down, while ridin through the hood with their 8-track tape players blastin'.
