Devotion****[4:49](M.White, P.Bailey): Pure gospel! Philip Bailey continues to amaze. Emotional falsetto with enough feeling
to make ya' wanna say, GLORY!!! The falsetto harmony of the background vocalists is celestial. It's all held together by an
angelic piano motif while the rest of the musicians go along for the ride. Laser-sharp synthesizers work on top as the icing
on the cake. Devotion was the third single released from "Open Our Eyes" and a great choice giving the growing EW&F fan base
an opportunity to hear more of the spiritual side of their music. The best thing about Devotion, is the sing-a-long aspect
of it. It's not a stretch to say, many street corner vocalists recited the now legendary phrase "Through Devotion, Blessed
are the children."
