8. Invitation*+: Uptempo cutesy pop is not Maurice White's style and it's hard to understand what prompted him to add a song
like this on an otherwise good album. Wanda Vaughn and Sheila Whitt (two of the Emotions) provide background vocals, but they
don't add too much. The music is slightly new-wavish, non-danceable over-synthesized schlock.
