Make It With You

Make It With You*+[3:23](D. Gates): Remake of the 1970 number one hit ballad for David Gates and Bread. Only Earth,Wind & Fire's version is more uptempo. The moving early 70ish bass-line adds a slice of progressiveness. Alto saxophone gives this cover a jazzy touch. Falsetto lead vocals are excellent, but unfortunately, the vocal arrangement is a little below effective EW&F standards. Still, "Make It With You" is at least worth a listen.
