Star**+ [4:24] (M.White, E.DelBarrio, A.Willis): Fourth single release from "I AM", Star is uptempo, brassy swing.
Lots of high-end brass, prominent rhythm guitars, complex drum beats, infectious strings, a nice trumpet solo and Philip Bailey's
cheerful falsetto voice makes "Star" shine even brighter.
Star actually made the top 20 charts in the UK but by the time it was release as a single in the US the music of "I
AM' had apparently run its course and "Star" didn't receive the airplay nor didn't sale as much as the previous
singles from I AM.
