You and I***+[2:58] (M.White, D.Foster, A.Willis): Dynamic mid-tempo ballad is another highlight. High-end brass sound is
reminiscent of 40's era big-band sound. Funky bass lines, strong drums, percussion and infectious guitars keeps "You
and I" contemporary. Maurice White's expressive tenor and the melodious falsetto harmony are both up to par with the
group's best vocal performances (which is equal to Broadway's finest). "You and I" is a great bookend for another
great EW&F album.
