Takin' Chances** (L. Pierce, F, Blue) Uptempo " New Jack Swing " with classic EW&F horns. The downfall (The first of many on this album) was how Maurice White handled lead vocals, as if he were trying to sound 19 years old again. The mostly falsetto hook was the same way. This is also the first of many songs on this album that if done differently (with more soul) could have been successful.
