Welcome*** (M. White, R. Johnson, B. Young): For the first time on this album at least, the music is provided by mostly real instruments, most notably the drumming of then latest member Sonny Emory. Unfortunately this mid-tempo ballad suffers from some of the vagaries of the music from EW&F's 1983 Electric Universe album in that it demonstrate's how proficient the vocalists and musicians are, but its not overwhelming. The introduction is bland and the hook doesnt match the rest of the song for some reason. This song is rated as high as it is, simply because the music is still excellent.
