Build Your Nest***[3:16](M.White, V. White): It must have been difficult to select the right song to follow "Keep Your Head To the Sky", but this works beautifully. Ooozing guitars spastic uptempo funk underneath and heart-felt tenor lead vocals keep the momentum going. A year later, the ultimate compliment was given when "The GodFather of Soul" himself James Brown borrowed the same guitar riff (played by "Harlon "Cheese" Martin) from "Build Your Nest" and used it on his number 1 R&B single, "My Thang" and a similar guitar riff is also heard throughout Natalie Cole's 1976 #1 R&B hit "Sophisticated Lady." This jam must have kept the DJ's busy.
