Your Boyfriend's Back*: Frisky, jumpy, outrageous and bizarre is the best way to describe this selection. The early 1980's
produced several new-wavish bands that projected fun in the sun type music and apparently Philip Bailey attempted to emulate
this style. The story line is intriguing. Bailey's falsetto vocals are average at best but his natural voice on the hook is
painful. The only thing that remotely brings this song within a mile of respectability is the guitar solo (Played by EW&F
guitarist Roland Bautista), even tough it's barely audible. Apparently Philip Bailey arose from the wrong side of his bed
before recording this travesty.
